The Seoul International Senior Film Festival (SISFF) has been exploring questions not only about the elderly and their culture, but also about life and death, relationships, and generations, providing fresh insights into aging and the life of seniors. Additionally, by introducing high-quality films from different countries and creating a platform for everyone to share their own concerns, it has solidified its position as an international film festival. In the current context where ageing population has become a global issue, the festival aims to contribute to broadening understanding and empathy between generations, establishing itself as an important film platform.
