At Cheongcheondong, Bupyeonggu, Incheon, among humble houses piled up untidily but painted colorfully, resides Oh-soon-doh-soon Gongbubang. After the IMF crisis hit Korea, Ms. Magnolia and Ms. Sunflower, who were ordinary neighborhood aunties, had a chance to visit a school catering site, and got a simple hope that they could help kids to have food of better quality. So they opened the Oh-soon-doh-soon Gongbubang, and have been taking care of the children there for over 10 years since. Besides feeding and teaching, the teachers have a lot more to do for the children: making peace between the kids after fights, admonishing them for committing thefts, going on field trips to give them various cultural experiences, and so on. The teachers are always busy with the things they do for the children.

After 12 years, the children of the Oh-soon-doh-soon Gongbubang became grown-ups. The relationship with them is a bottomless source of refreshment for the teachers. And now, they are dreaming of a village where the teachers, the children, and the grown-ups live as a community.less
