Eunjin, a woman with a spinal cord injury, discovers she's pregnant and, after much deliberation with her husband Hoseon, decides to go through with the birth. During the early stages of her pregnancy, hospitalized due to inflammation, Eunjin meets Jihoo, another expectant mother, in her hospital room and receives brief comfort from her. Throughout her difficult times, Eunjin gains courage from Jihoo, enduring the pregnancy period. However, as the time for childbirth approaches, she learns Jihoo's true identity.
