JUNG Jae-young, UHM Ji-won and KIM Nam-gil become a STRANGE FAMILY

‘Fantastic Comedy’ Set to Feature a Cast of Colorful Characters
 

JUNG Jae-young of Right Now, Wrong Then (2015), UHM Ji-won of MISSING (2016) and KIM Nam-gil of MEMOIR OF A MURDERER are on board for the upcoming comedy Strange Family (translated title). 

Strange Family tells the story of a mysterious man who visits a small country village and meets a family of colorful characters that run a gas station. JUNG Jae-young is set to play Joon-geol, the oldest son who has an indecisive personality, while UHM Ji-won will play his wife Nam-joo who wears the pants in the family. KIM Nam-gil will play the second son who returns home after he gets fired from his company and LEE Su-gyeong of Yongsoon will play Hae-geol, the youngest daughter. The mysterious man will be played by JUNG Ga-ram who emerged as a rising star after the film Fourth Place (2016). Rounding out the cast is veteran actor PARK In-hwan who will play Man-deok, an obstinate old man who is the patriarch of the odd family. 

Strange Family is the directorial debut film of LEE Min-jae. The movie will be produced by CINEZOO, which put out Mama (2011) and Red Carpet (2014), and will be distributed by Megabox Plus M.

Strange Family will be a fantastic comedy featuring great actors and actresses, extraordinary imagination and fresh plots that audiences have never seen before.” said a Megabox Plus M official. The film will be released in 2018.
