Black Comedy SSEOL with KIM Kang-hyun, KANG Chan-hee & JUNG Jin-young Starts Filming

Upcoming black comedy Sseol (working title), featuring a cast consisting of KIM Kang-hyunKANG Chan-hee, KIM So-ra, JO Jae-yun, JUNG Jin-young and JANG Kwang, went into production in November. The film is being directed by HWANG Seung-jae.

Sseol will describe a bloody and humorous series of events whereby characters find themselves in a situation where they cannot distinguish what is true or false.

KIM Kang-hyun, recently seen in Extreme Job (2019) and EXIT (2019) in supporting roles, will play the motormouth Ih-pal, while KANG Chan-hee, a member of the K-pop outfit SF9 who drew notice for his role in the hit series Sky Castle, is playing Jeong-seok, a part-time worker who faces the biggest crisis of his life.

KIM So-ra (A Boy and Sungreen, 2019) is on board as Se-na, JO Jae-yun plays Lee Choong-moo and JANG Kwang is appearing as Chairman CHOI. Meanwhile, veteran actor JUNG Jin-young (King and the Clown, 2005), who recently debuted as a director through ME AND ME, will appear in a special role.

Director HWANG made the comedy Oh! My God 2 in 2009, the same year he served as a script editor on the ski-jumping sports smash hit Take Off (2009). He later wrote the script for the family comedy BECAUSE I LOVE YOU (2017) and this year he debuted his low-budget film The Interviewees at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BiFan).
