The Asian World Film Festival began to raise interest in Asian films and is held in Los Angeles before the U.S. Academy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards, targeting films from 50 countries across Asia. The 8th Asian World Film Festival kicked off on November 9 and will continue its 10-day festival until November 18. Decibel will be screened at AMC Marketplace 6 on November 12.

Furthermore, Decibel has been confirmed to be released in North America on December 2. SHAW ENTERTAINMENT, the distributor of The Handmaiden, Ode to My Father, and The Admiral: Roaring Currents, is in charge of the distribution of the film. Decibel is a sound-terror action film depicting the confrontation between a bomb designer (Lee Jongsuk) who tries to occupy the city center with a special bomb that explodes as soon as the noise gets louder and a former Navy deputy captain (Kim Raewon) who becomes the bomber’s target.

Decibel, which will show terror action with the unique theme of ‘Noise Response Bomb,’ is set to be released in Korea on November 16.
